The HMS-5.6KW is a high-performance, high-frequency off-grid solar inverter designed for small to medium power supply systems of up to 5.6 kW. With a pure sine wave output and a robust surge capacity of 11,200 VA (twice the rated power for five seconds), it delivers stable, reliable power for residential and light commercial applications.
At the heart of the HMS-5.6KW is an inbuilt 100 A MPPT charge controller with tracking efficiency exceeding 99%, which maximises energy harvesting from solar panels. The system supports up to 6,000 W of PV input with a maximum open-circuit voltage of 500 V DC, offering excellent flexibility for various solar array configurations. With a high transfer efficiency of over 95%, it ensures minimal energy loss, making it a cost-effective choice for off-grid living.
The HMS-5.6KW features flexible energy management with three selectable charging modes and three output modes, allowing users to customise system operation to their specific requirements. It supports multiple battery types, including lithium-ion and lead-acid, with a nominal battery voltage of 48 V DC and a maximum hybrid charging current of 100 A (AC charger + PV charger). The unit offers a seamless transfer time of 10 ms between bypass and inverter modes, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply during grid fluctuations.
To meet growing energy demands, the HMS-5.6KW supports parallel operation with up to six units, enabling system expansion to meet future requirements. Multiple built-in protections and an auto-restart function ensure maximum safety and a longer system life.
