      Given a crystal with a perfect lattice, the motion of an electron moving through the crystal is equivalent to that of an electron with effective mass moving in free space. In this way, the periodicity of the lattice is perturbed and electrons are scattered. In addition, if the temperature is greater than the absolute temperature, the atoms at the lattice point will undergo thermal shock, and there will be thermal shock particles, namely phonons, moving in the crystal. The higher the temperature, the more phonons. Phonons collide with electrons in a process called lattice scattering. The flow of free electrons is hindered mainly due to the above two kinds of scattering, and the crystal thus has a finite resistance.
