Modified Sine Wave Inverter

The modified sine wave inverter adopts the PWM pulse width modulation method to generate the modified wave output. During the inverter process, due to the use of special intelligent circuits and high-power FETs, the power loss of the system is greatly reduced. And the soft start function is added to effectively ensure the reliability of the inverter.

For most appliances, the modified sine wave has no effect on them and can be used normally. Examples include light bulbs, appliances with compressors, and power tools. But some appliances, such as electric blankets, coffee machines, etc., will not work properly. Because their microprocessors require pure sine waves to properly regulate temperature.

There is also a "humming" noise from certain devices, such as televisions, when powered by a modified sine wave inverter.

Pure Sine Wave Inverter

The output waveform of the pure sine wave inverter is almost the same as that of the mains. Due to the complexity of the electrical appliance, its price is much more expensive than that of the modified sine wave inverter. The electrical appliances that are basically listed on the market can work normally without any restrictions.

So I suggest you better use a pure sine wave inverter.
