Due to the shortfall of fossil fuels in the near future, development of alternative source of energy is needed. The rapid growth in consumption of electric power has always been a concern for every country. In this project, an inverting system for renewable energy application will be developed using the H-bridge inverter technology, which is able to synthesize a 220v ac voltage from 24v of dc voltage. The goal of this project is to explain and ultimately build a high efficiency pure sine wave inverter (DC to AC converter) from scratch. The great majority of inverters out there can generate a very blocky and noisy sine wave. This inverter is generating a nice and smooth high fidelity sine wave just as an audio amplifier would.
