The WP-11K0 is a 11 kW solar pump inverter manufactured by Foshan Top One Power Technology Co., Ltd., a company based in Foshan that has been involved in the renewable energy sector since 2003. Designed for solar-powered water pumping applications such as agricultural irrigation, livestock watering and remote village water supply systems where grid power is unavailable or costly to install, it belongs to the WP Series.

Rather than storing solar energy in batteries and then running a pump, which wastes power through multiple conversion steps, the WP-11K0 takes a more direct approach. It converts DC from the solar array straight into AC to drive the pump motor, continuously matching pump speed to the amount of sunlight available. When the sun is strong, the pump runs at full output. When a cloud passes, the pump slows down rather than stopping abruptly. This ensures that water continues to flow at a reduced rate and that the pump avoids the mechanical stress of repeated start-stop cycles. The MPPT algorithm operates with over 99% tracking efficiency to ensure the solar array delivers its maximum output.

The WP-11K0 accepts a DC input range of 150 V to 800 V, providing flexibility in panel configuration. It also offers a full output frequency range of 0–400 Hz for fine-tuning pump performance. There are two operating modes: frequency priority and voltage priority. This gives users flexibility in how they manage pump speed and torque. The drive also supports both single-phase and three-phase pump connections, making it adaptable to different well configurations. Additionally, a sleep function enables the pump to hibernate at night, reducing wear and saving energy until sunrise.

With an IP65 rating, the WP-11K0 is suitable for outdoor installation and can be mounted directly in the field without risk of damage from rain or dust. It includes built-in protection against dry running, overflow and overload.
