However, as long as the nominal voltage of the PV modules of the system is higher than the battery pack voltage, the Vmp of the PV modules will always be higher than the battery voltage. In addition, wiring savings due to reduced solar array currents give MPPT solar controllers a distinct advantage even in hot weather.
