The TD-80248 is a high-capacity, low-frequency, pure sine wave inverter manufactured by Foshan Jinguangyuan Power Technology Co., Ltd., a recognised National High-Tech Enterprise with over 16 years' experience manufacturing in the renewable energy sector. Designed for challenging off-grid solar installations, commercial backup systems and industrial power applications, the TD-80248 provides an impressive continuous output of 8000 W, with a peak surge capacity of up to 24 kVA (20 ms). This makes it highly effective at starting heavy inductive loads, such as large motors, pumps and compressors of up to 6 HP.

At the heart of the TD-80248 lies a rugged toroidal transformer that ensures superior overload tolerance and reliable performance under extreme conditions. The unit produces a pure sine wave output with total harmonic distortion below 3% for linear loads, providing clean, stable AC power to protect sensitive electronic equipment and communication infrastructure. The inverter operates on a 48 V DC battery system with a wide input voltage range of 42–60 V, accommodating various battery chemistries, including sealed, gel, flooded and LiFePO₄ types.

The TD-80248 integrates an intelligent, three-stage AC battery charger with a maximum charging current of 35 A. It automatically manages constant current, constant voltage and float charging to maximise battery lifespan. The automatic transfer switch ensures a seamless transition between battery and AC input modes in ≤4 ms, minimising disruption to critical loads during power outages. The unit supports both single-phase and split-phase configurations, offering flexible AC output options to suit diverse regional grid standards.
